  • Seed treatment with imidacloprid @ 2ml/ kg seed to control thrips.
  • Apply carbofuran 3G in a nursery seedbed or 10 kg/acre carbofuran 3G after 10 days of sowing/transplanting.
  • Foliar spray of Insecticides such as Imidacloprid 17.8 % SL @ 0.3ml/lt or Dimethoate 30 % EC @ 1ml/lt or Fipronil 5 % SC 1.5ml/lt or thiamethoxam @ 1gm/ lt water at 30-35 days interval.
